MySkill shares Infection Control Course for free to combat Coronavirus

MySkill, an NZQA registered private training establishment, has made its Infection Control eLearning material free for all New Zealanders and the Healthcare sector to access to help stop the spread of Coronavirus.

Prevention through infection control is key to protecting yourself and others from the virus.  The MySkill Infection Control eLearning material provides anyone with the knowledge and skill to defend themselves, so this is our way of helping stop the spread of any virus including COVID-19,” says Anita Guthrie, MySkill General Manager.

“We are well placed to give something back to our sector. There are a lot of providers who do not have access to eLearning easily, so MySkill would like to play its part within the sector by ensuring that everyone who supports people within the community can refresh their knowledge and also have easy access to the growing number of links of information free of charge,” she adds.

The fee-free MySkill Infection Control eLearning is based on the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 unit standard without the NZQA assessment component.  Providers who are looking to have their workforce avail of the NZQA unit standard with assessments can contact MySkill.
