We encourage learners to complete the eLearning content before taking the online theory exam and the practical exam. The eLearning provides good foundational learning and a solid understanding of what the exams may cover, and it will improve successful completion of the exams.
To be eligible to complete the exam, without completing the eLearning content, you must be able to show evidence of 2,000 hours of work experience within 3 years as a repair technician in the assistive technology sector.
When you take the exam, you have 3 opportunities to achieve 70% and pass. If you do not pass in 3 attempts, you will need to re-purchase the exam.
